How about we all post our pics of this block under one heading? I know we can add pics when we post & it would be easier to scroll down & see all of them (when we get them done) under one heading. Any thoughts? S
PS. Love the colors on this block!!

Sounds like a great plan Coyote. I was hoping we would do something like that.

Hopefully my picture of my sampler block will come through. The top one is the one that I am 'keeping', the bottom one is the 'try' it one (yuck). Have any of you had a problem with the 1st round of the flying goose block? That part of the block to keep each corner of the center square 1/4 inch from edge (3 1/2 x 6 1/2 section) was hard for me. I did a scant 1/4 inch on seams & I think I need to do 1/4 on first triangles & scant 1/4 on next triangles. Can anyone understand this mumbo jumbo? The other problem I noticed was the last round where the 6 seams come together. Did anyone else have a problem keeping the points together? I ripped & sewed several times because of the bulk. I also tried pressing seams different directions, but that didn't work well either. Any hints? Thanks, S

Coyote - I actually emailed Linda from QIAD because I think there is actually a mistake in the directions. I haven't heard back from her so maybe she is checking. It all works out in the end with the trimming but it is difficult as you are going along. I ran into the same problem. Hopefully, Linda will get back to me soon. Come to think of it, I am not sure I have seen her at the forum for a bit. On vacation maybe? Your blocks are gorgeous none the less.
