I don't know if this is true, but I was once told that Amish women will not make a perfect quilt. If things are going to well, they will purposely put a flaw in it.

I know that sometimes we get caught up in our round robins or swaps and we forget that not everyone has the time to work on them that some of us have. When I don't hear from someone or am waiting to receive my next round or swap, I just pray that all is well with them. I then get busy doing all those ufos and other projects that need my attention. I know that once I get what I am waiting for I will be swamped, so I thank God for the break. I also remember that sometimes what we think are mistakes or imperfections is what makes out quilt more interesting or memorable.

I must admit that I am running a little late with my fall block swap but I hope that everyone will be patient with me.

I feel that it is important if we are unable to keep up that we at least give others the courtesy of contacting the host/hostess and advise them of our difficulties. Often all we need to do is ask for help if we are overwhelmed by life. As we can see by all the wonderful things these great members do day after day, I know that I can come to my forum friends and ask for patience or help.

God Bless You All

Ann
