I have a question, will the Hummel embroidery CD work on a Bernina Aurora 440 QE machine? I googled the Hummel CD, but couldn't tell if it'd work on my machine, all it talked about was Pfaffs and Janomes.

GeorgiaPeach,
The CD that comes with the kit is multiformatted and includes most embroidery design formats. It was co-marketed with Pfaff so I think that's why you can only find that. There are some for sale on ebay right now. Hope this helps and good luck. You'll love it.

Georgiapeach, it all depends on your format, you can find out at your sewing store what format your machine uses, most cd's today come with different formats, one is called PES then there are ART files or HUS files, and many more, all you have to do is ask your dealer, most formats can be changed to your format, I hope I made myself clear,

The Hummels are darling - good job. I see you used my favorite Fairy Frost in the background - great choice!!!

Thanks so much for the help, ladies! I am really fired-up to get out my embroidery unit now and start learning to use it! I've been intimidated by it. I just need to dive in!

My Mother would have loved this. She collected Hummels. We don't really care for nick nacks, I must have gotten that trait from her. Mother probably had 4 or 5. Not really a collection, but she enjoyed them.
You did beautiful work on this and I really love it.
