What a beautiful quilt. You have tackled as a beginner, what experienced quilters won't touch. Fantastic!!!

I bought Glad Press and Seal at the supermarket. I just cut a piece off and applied it to the area I wanted to stitch. Then I used my ruler and a fine point sharpie to draw the straight lines on the Press and Seal. Then I stitched on all the lines. When I was done I just peeled the Press and Seal off (it comes off like tissue paper) and walla!, perfect lines or whatever you drew. I also used it to do the simple loops for the center square. I love it!!

Thanks so much for all the positive comments. I am off to do the second half of my applique class today--this is so fun!!
