I came across a great article in the April 2007 issue of McCall's Quilting entitled "Quilting for Hire." It tells you all you need to know with regards to finding a LA quilter, and what you need to do to prepare your quilt and backing properly. I tried to go to their website to find the article, but couldn't find it printed anywhere. They just referred to it.
