I love to quilt, mainly, now that I have finally gotten into it seriously. My second love now, is counted cross stitch & I love to read too. I go to a rubber stamping group once a month & have lots of it now too, but haven't played with it too much at home, yet. I use to tole paint in CA & really loved it, mainly painted with a group, & no group I want to paint wuth here, so gave up on that. I have crocheted lots of the fine thread doilies too, but now, quilting is my first love, so that's what I mainly do, every chance I get. This summer, we are hitting some VW bus campouts (yes, DH has a bus, his baby!), so now, we get a campsite with electric, & I take my little travel machine, & I can quilt all I want, while he is off visiting with his bus buddies. Works for me, & I sure enjoy camping alot more now, & along with my two little dogs for company.....

This is a felt & sequin stocking I did for one of my grandsons. I did similar ones for the other three grandsons. It was a kit.

I sew, crotchet, cross stitch and dip into a few other things. Right now I am trying to finish up a summer outfit for my DGD. A little top and skort set. She of course thought it should have been done in an hour! One more evening and will have it licked! Will post pic if I can figure it out.

I do thread crochet. I love crocheting doilies and tiny 3" doll dresses.

Besides quilting (which is number one on my list) I like to crochet. I've made many afghans for family members, potholders, and so many doilies I can't even begin to count that high. I've made rag dolls, and all the country style decorating items (I used to do craft shows.) And I love to do cake decorating. I've taken several classes just to learn how to make the rose and I still can't make one!! My cakes aren't perfect but from a distance they look great! As for my favorite color--I'm into red right now. Not the bright reds but the country reds and cranberry.
