Egg Money BOM - Block Two - Road To California

Wesig - we are all using the same patterns in QIAD Egg Money Quilts book.
I sent this to the top so that Homespun and Kadie could go to pg. 2 and see the background of my blocks which is done in Fairy Frost fabrics.

If you guys look at my block in the Fall block swap, and then the Road to CA blocks here, they are completely different. No flying geese in mine, whole different pattern. I wonder why that is? I would have thought no matter where the pattern came from, it would look the same. that is what I have been trying to explain. Mine is from quilters'cache. Now it is clear as mud right?

It's amazing how blocks can have several different names and different blocks can have the same name! I understand where you are coming from. I've seen more than one variation for the Missouri Star.

Here is my block and also the pillow project. I was hoping to be able to do all of the projects along with the blocks, but some of them are going to have to wait until someone allows 48 hours in a day

Thank you littlebit and sewsew. I really love wild violets (you know the ones that were always growing somewhere in the middle of the garden or yard that your mom and dad didn't really like) so I have a lot of purple and violet fabric that I thought I better start using instead of just storing it

gramajojo, love them both, but that pillow is fantastic! The colors are very dramatic.
