Nadine,
I am new and would like to do a swap. I don't think I could come up with 40 blocks by Oct. I also would have to order the fabric. So I'll probably pass on this one.
I have been trying to read all these messages to see how it is going. BUT I am confused. Is this one for Oct 31st. or are you extending it til after christmas? Maybe they are talking about another swap after the holidays. I just lost track while reading. IF you are extending it I might join in.

quiltwithmom, This swap was extended to Oct 31. The blocks are really easy and fun to do so please don't think Oct 31 would be animpossible deadline to meet. We are thinking of doing another autograph swap using scrap fabrics and "quilters choice" for the pattern. We're not starting sign up for that one until after New Years.

Also, WELCOME! You will meet lots of fun and crazy people on this site.

Leetec, if this is going to be after Christmas I am definitely interested. Can't do anything before then because I have an order for four king size quilts for Christmas and I have to make a few things for my kids and grandchildren and great grandchildren. I am going to be a bit busy, but would love to help after the holiday. An autograph quilt is such a wonderful treasure. I know, I really treasure mine.

Mom - did I welcome you to the forum?? If not, please forgive me! I've seen your posts on here, but forgot to say hi!

The blocks are simple and easy - I'll probably get mine done in a weekend, easy!

QuiltinKay, I'm sure right after New Year's we'll start a sign up. I don't believe we've decided who's going to host that one yet but I'm sure we'll decided pretty quickly once we get started.

I think I would like to join this swap, but honestly, I have no idea what to do. I have the Still Stripping Book, but what do I do from here. I'm a newbie and late seeing this post. Never been in a swap before, so don't know how to get started. Probably all this has been covered by other posts, but can someone give me a summary so I can get started. Are we making just the block or is there some quilting needed? I assume all the blocks should be the same colors? If someone can give me directions and a place to contact when I run into problems, I want to join. Carol
