I agree with that but instead of picking out color's for this quilt why don't we use what we have and see what different colors and pattern's come out of it? I think a very colorful quilt would be really fun to do. Tell me what you guys think about that?

Flyboy, you mean we could ea. pick out a diff pattern and end up with a Sampler of sorts? If the blocks were all the same sz. it would be fun. I agree, lets all wait until AFTER this Christmas & New Years to decide. LOL

yes I think if we could all agree on a size we could make different patterns and exchange them and that would make the sample but I agree we should wait till after the holidays. I think it would be really nice to have a multicolored quilt with all different patterns in it. There is nothing wrong with us being different and who cares if it isn't the "Proper" way to do a quilt.

LOL kadie,

No I don't think the Quilt police will come for us but you never know it may come out so breath taking that Eleanor may want all of us to come to a show :) Ok well that is far fetched LOL one can dream though.

I must admit that when I first saw the idea of everyone using different colors and pattens the AC quilt police came out in me. But after I thought about it for 2 seconds (yes, I'm geting older so I had to think about it for double my usual time! LOL) I decided it sounds like a great idea! What better way to show ourselves then to use the colors we love the most? I think it will be great and I can't wait to do this with all of you!

Very cool,

Well if someone after all the holidays would like to get a hold of me, I would love to help make this happen. I have seen some of the most beautiful quilts become multicolored not to mention I think that if we have different designs in it, it will make it more of a unique quilt. This is one project that I will be involved in.
