It's a wonder - all of these blocks will fit together - at least colorwise!

I'm taking blocks that people send (or completed quilt tops, etc.) and making quilts for those who loose everything due to disasters.

This started with the Greensburg, KS tornado when I knew a family that lost everything (she's a quilter and I work with her husband), and has expanded to other tornadoes and disasters - such as the two quilt tops I sent to astitchintime because she knew someone who lost everything in the Lake Tahoe fires.

So that's how this contest started. We need more blocks/tops to make quilts.

You know how it hurts when you are so far away that you can't do anything to help someone out? Well, this way, you can send a hug and prayers in a quilt!

You have got to be kidding. I am certain I want to see a picture of that quilt top.

I had a partially finished top I sent The colors were so horrendous it gave me a migraine. Jake picked them out. Dayglo orange, purple, Lime green.. pure hideousness, but a kid will LOVE it. I am sure NOTHING will go with those~
