My Round Robin came today! :) Words can not express how much I love this quilt. I am truly humbled by what you three wonderful woman added to this quilt. It is smiply beautiful. I was crying before I even took it out of the bag because I could already see how much time and effort went into this piece of art. I am afraid to quilt it for fear of ruining it. The applique is all done by hand and it is dimensional! Wow. I've never had such a beautiful quilt and I will treasure it always.
SewSew (Ann), Gardenquilter (Lynn) and CindyB...you all outdid yourselves and I love you all. :)
God bless...
Lee
PS Can you send yours back to me so I can make my rounds better? :)

Leetec, I am so glad that your medallion made it home for the holidays.LOL

I am glad that you like how it turned out and I love what the others added to it. You don't know how hard it was to send it along (LOL) I really loved your medallion.

It was fun to work on, Ann! I had the white on white fabric, but went out and bought the others... and I ended up getting the same black tone on tone that Lee used in the center. I didn't want it to show too much so I used the black as a folded border, seperating the pieced border from the outside.

I knew I wanted to "frame" the others, and I was slow, but I wanted to get it done RIGHT!

Ann's and Lee's were the first time I did mitered corners, so I was slow on both, and ended up doing the froggy thing on Ann's, the spider webs were the second border I put on!!! LOL!!

But, Oh, my what fun it was, figuring out what would go the best and look the best!
