Tooty12, Welcome! This Round Robin has already started and is about half-way through. There are new swaps, exchanges, BOM's and Round Robins starting all the time. I'm sure there will be another Round Robin, probably around the first of the year, after the holidays. Flyboy (Joel) is thinking of starting another one (I think another autograph quilt) after the new year. Javin is starting a fabric swap, you might want to ask her, she has a post that she started, just look for her name as the orginator of the swap post.

I'm hosting the Egg Money Block of the month (BOM) and if you don't mind catching up, we'd love to have you over there. We are on block 4 right now. We started at the beginning of the book and are working our way through in sequence. You won't be sending your blocks anywhere, but we want you to post pictures of your blocks. You will need the book Egg Money Quilts. Why don't you browse though all the threads on this forum and see what all's going on. We're having a lot of fun.

How is everyone coming along? If there is anyone that is having a hard time keeping up, please, contact your group and work something out. I am sure that everyone here is very understanding and we all get a little overwhelmed sometimes. Do not stress.

Our next deadline is Sept. 9, but please remember it is not set in stone and we do not have to stress about being done on time. The important part is to have fun, expand your experiences and techniques and share your knowledge with others.

Thank you so much for answering my post, I'll look forward to another starting! I'm just new to this discussion and so far I'm enjoying all your discussions very much! I work part-time in a 'sewing store' and just love it. I've been quilting since the 70's and love that also! Thanks again.

Yea, I got all the peices cut out for GQ's RR! Now I just have to hope that I did them right! Now I can go to bed and dream about sewing all those pieces back together. :)

Good night all!

tooty I am sure another one will be forthcoming - I certainly hope so I have had such a wonderful time with this one that I certainly would sign up for another one in the future -

I am working away on Leetecs so I can have to Cindy at first of week at least that is the plan today - it is such an awesome block - I have it on the design wall in my studio and everyone who sees it fall in love with it - the little girl across the street asked if it were for sale as is I told her I would have to ask leetec and sew sew if they would like to make another one for her to buy - she hung her head and said well I am sure I cant afford it (rotflol) you have to know her to know this is funny - anyway she saw it because she has her quilt on the design wall too - she drew a picture and we are doing a landscape quilt for her mom for christmas - mostly raw edge applique - she is dying to finish it on that BIG machine out there I told her no her mom would not like that but she can sew on the little machine (I cleared with her mom first) anyway I am rambling again I guess that is what happens this early in the am with all the coffee I had to get going have been up since 4:30

I will be sending off my next round ( Checkers, Mary) to Quilterliz (Liz) on Monday. Hopefully I will be sending the next round by the end of next week. I have been away for a week and catching up on lots. I started stressing about getting it done and mailed then thought "Hey, have fun with this!!" So that is what I am doing!! Hope you all are doing the same!! They are all beautiful, by the way!!
Have a great weekend!!

gardenquilter, I have a bit more to do on CindyB's but it should be in the mail by Monday. I too hope we are able to get another one together again because I love doing these round robins. I think I enjoy working on other peoples projects more than I do on my own. I don't know if that sounds crazy but it is so much fun trying to come up with new ideas.

Anyone have any ideas about a theme for the next one?

GQ, thank you so much for sharing that story abut your neighbor! It really touched my heart. If the negative from the center block is still in the package, maybe you could iron that to a piece of fabric and give that to her.

I'm working on your RR now. I hope you like it. :) I'm not sure if I'll have it in the mail on Monday but I'll give it my best shot.

SewSew, no ideas right now on a new theme, but I would love to do it again.

I've applied for another job - it would be less stress in the summertime! I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one!
