Steam a Seam is a great bonding fabric. I like it far better than Wonderunder - it's lighter weight and it never gums up the needle.

Do you think it would be okay to show pictures of our center blocks before we send them off? Or should it be a total surprise?

Evie, I posted pictures of my center block before I sent it off and no one seemed to mind. As long as we don't post pictures after teh first round I think it's okay.

Yeah!!!! <<<dances around the house>>> My center medallion is done!!! Whooooppppeeeeee!!!!!

Now....gotta find where I put those embellishments (buttons), but I can put those on afterwards.....

Hummmmm.....do I want to send fabric with the center, or let everyone have at it.... I'm not sure, leaning one way, but want everyone to be creative (I think that's what I'm going to do!)

Oh, what is my center, you say???!!!!! Oh, my stars (friendship) and bars - for the 4th of July - done in 1800's - kinda, like!

I think either - but IMHO, I'm going to wait! I've got some gold stars that I think I'm going to sprinkle on it after I quilt it!

Here's my RR. Can you guess which Holiday? I got the idea from looking at GP's pics.
