Hey gals.. Here's Friday's Update!

Today I received towens's blocks! OH WHAT FUN.. I now have a total of 171 blocks all over my living room couch! Tracy's are so so pretty! Her Quilters Choice is a Dresdent Plate that's to die for! It's another one I might have to have a special drawing for! How could I possibly choose who gets these gems! As my grandson would say "Wow, look at these beauties" (he was speaking of his fishing worms when he said that) But the quilt blocks are the real beauties to me!

Now that my nephew is home for a while, when it comes to those special blocks I'll have him help me draw names! He'll keep me honest!

Have a great weekend everybody... lucky me, I get to work.... all the while dreaming of Christmas Blocks!

Even MORE totally AWESOME blocks showed up in my mail box today! Oh what a treat to come home to! After a long boring day at work, it was great to have something nice!

Got blocks from LorettaV and Patsyann and they are beautiful. Will lay out and photograph tomorrow. When I was in the fall block swap with Quilt_Florida... she sent us all a CD of all the blocks.. I'm hoping I can do that so everybody can see all the blocks that are being swapped! Anything with blue it catches my eye, so you know I'm drooling all over the blue ones!

I'm still not sure how to go about getting them sorted to send back, but I'll think of something!

Maryq, so glad you got my blocks. I don't envy you at all, now you have to give away all those wonderful blocks! But it really must be Christmas in July @ your place, huh?

Mine are DONE!!! I need to take pictures and make labels, and they will be off in the mail.

Worked 8 hrs (o/t) on Sat, another 6 (all o/t) today. I'm exhausted, so please excuse the whonky blocks!!! LOL!!!

The last two gave me the most problems.... I should have shut off the sewing machine when I realized how pooped I was! Oh, well, the seam ripper got good use!

It's definately looking like Christmas around here! Blocks all over the living room. I'm racking my brain trying to figure out how to best sort them out! Do I sort them by all the same block--for example all the Wild Waves together and all the Christmas Stars together, then "pass them out" I think that might be the best way, but I am open to suggestions!

It's late in MN, long day at work, so I'm heading off to bed!

Maryq, I think that would be the best way, maybe shuffle the names of forum members so that we don't get too many from the same person. Then you can go in an assembly line to put the blocks in our envelopes and send them quickly on their way!!
