I think coffee is definitely at maryq's place this morning. What a wonderful relaxing view. As dry as we are here, the look of all that green and water is such a refreshing change. What kind of birds are out on the water?

It's so much fun to see where everyone lives and plays.

Thanks so much for the beautiful picture.

Those birds in the background are Geese. There was a little goose family floating by and when I got the camera to take the picture a boat started up nearby and the geese took off. Way over to the left side (out of the Picture) there is a marshy area and I think that's where the geese "live". There are tons of geese up there (and they like to poo all over the yard--they are pretty birds, but very messy)

I'm trying to figure out how I could live there year around... If I won the lottery?

Sew

My cabin is on Pelican Lake. One of several Pelican Lakes in Minnesota (with 10,000 lakes in MN, I think they ran out of different names) It's near Glenwood, about 20 miles straight south of Alexandria if you know where that is. It's a little less than a 2 hour drive from my house. Just perfect for even running up for a long day! I'm just trying to figure out how to make a permanent home out of it!

OMG - that's just beautiful Maryq!! I'd have to move my sewing machine. I'd be wanting to go fishing all the time if I had that to look at. WOW
