Did my little sister fall off the face of the earth? I can't find her any where, I really don't know why I am looking. Oh, I know I don't have anyone to pick on, and she hasn't picked on me.

I am lonesome.

Am I now an only child?

Heck No Ruthie! She is hiding from you so you will not ask her if she has started on your quilt yet. LOL How are you feeling? Has a surgery date been set? I know you will be so happy to have this all behind you.

Beautiful quilt and you both did a beautiful job.. I am too old to get a long arm so will stick to hand quilting.. I too would be nervous doing some one else quilt.. But you sure did a nice job.. I did put together a quilt for some one else, she had it mostly cut out and a few blocks in but had to rip hers out for they were not square.. It turned out good though, was going to send picture but scanner is out and also usb port, on fixed income so can't have it fixed as yet. That is a very pretty quilt, that is sewn diagnally , isn't it.. I had done a ribbon one like that.

You did a wonderful job on that quilt. I know your friend loves it because you did it for her.

Cathy32078,

She is sneaking around out there somewhere, I only remind her 4 times a day, I don't want to be a nag.

I see a surgeon on Wed., I hope to have it the 30th of July. I wanted to have it a little sooner, but my husband and I are taking some safety classes in shooting. I didn't want to put the classes off much longer. The last time I shot my gun I killed my son's laudry tub in the basement. Oh well, it was old any way.

Thanks for asking about the old hip, I am going to take that bone that they take out and hit qltsbeme if she doesn't have my quilt to me. I know think I have given public notice so she shouldn't be surprised.

Ruthie, 4 tinmes a day just isn't enough for some people. LOL Especially IF they have short memories. Let us know what the surgeon says Wednesday. Will be thinking of you. Do you know how long you will be in the hospital? Wish I loved closer so I could help you when you get home.

There are nagging callouses that can develop, you know.

Thanks Cathy,

My husband is an excellent cook and nurse. Ok, I admit he waits on me hand and foot. I tell him he is my favorite servant. I should only be in the hospital about 4 days. I am a very good patient and maybe I can pull of 3, but I doubt it.

thanks again for the concerns.
