Re: Tumbling Blocks update & progress!
Now, as you can see, I need the light diamonds to fill in around the edges, then I can sew it & cut the edges straight. Then, the borders, thinking of a chevron (braid) one for this quilt, plus a narrow stip of one fabric on each edge of the border. So, what do think ladies?

I cut and pasted the address for the picture then sat back and watched a slide show of all your beautiful quilts plus a cute baby!
I really enjoy looking at all the pics! Your place mats are really gorgeous! Too pretty to eat on top of. Are you going to scotch guard them?

Evie!
Thanks for your compliments! The baby is Bridget, our youngest GD, who just turned one, with the quilt I made & sent her!
The placemats, thought about scotchgarding, but it would wash out. DH & I use the two that are all dark, lol, happen to be our favorite ones, & the rest are in the drawer, for any company we seldom have. We figure, use them & enjoy them, & I can always make more, right!

I was going to save this one for a gift, but have changed my mind, lol. By the time I finish it the way I want to, it's going to go on a wall here at home somewhere!

I rearranged that center block second row down & got rid of that big light space, now it looks even better! Didn't even see it till I looked at the photo after I posted it, lol....Glad I did!
