Sunbonnet Sue Alphabet Quilt

Post by azgal70 » Tue Jun 05, 2007 10:13 am

Here I go again. I'm going to try to import all of the individual alphabet squares. Hopefully, the will be a good size.

This quilt to an entire to finish. First, the alphabet had to be traced unto the fabric, then embroidered, made into a quilt and then hand quilted!

I'm so glad you posted this. I would rate this a blue ribbon effort! Can't wait to get started on mine-the book is backordered.

Holey Moley AsGal. What a beautiful project. That was quite an undertaking but worth it!

I am so jealous. If I did hand quilting I would be dead for 3 years and still working on it. Yours is beautiful.

This quilt too a year and has around 2300 to 1400 hours of work in it! I made a special label for the back of it for my granddaughter so she would know the effort put into. But there was much love also.
