Rose, love your pic! You look wonderful! Your quilt block is so pretty, I love the pink and green together. And like Holon, I really love your dishes, too! Are they the Blue Wllow pattern?
needlenoise, that's a great idea to have everyone's pics as a screen saver! I wouldn't have a clue how to do it, all I can do is blab like crazy and rack-up post counts! That's the extent of my computer know-how! LOL!

Hi Rose,
I'm relatively new here too, and new at quilting. WOW, your block is absolutely beautiful! I love the colors, but then I'm prejudiced, since green and pink are my favorite colors.

Thank you everyone. Yes and yes. The block is my Round Robin Block and my first attempt at piecing. The dishes are Blue Willow and were my grandmother's. Do you know the story that goes with the picture on the Blue Willow plates and bowls? My grandmother would promise to tell me the story if I would eat all my cereal to the bottom of the bowl. I never tired of hearing her tell me the story. And finally, I will give you the 2nd "eyeball" lesson tonight, after I get all my "have-to's" for the day done.

Hi Rose, You'd never know that you're new to quilting! Your block is very pretty and nice and square, which as we all know is no easy task when we're learning!!! LOL

I love the colors in the block. I would like to know the story behind the Blue Willow dishes. My grandmother left me a set but I never heard the story behind them. Keep up the good work!

Rose, you cannot be new to quilting. That block is beautiful and just perfect.
I just need to know something - how do y'all stay so thin? I get fatter by the second. I'm not posting my picture. Gonna have some chocolate ice cream instead - LOL
