Thanks all...Holon, the white on white is Walmart $2 a yard stuff!!! I know some look down on their fabrics,,,but we have a good selection here near us,with lots of quilters and Amish. All Walmart fabric centers are NOT created equal. There are no LQS near me and being on a fixed income Walmart is something I can afford .I watch the remnant bin there too and grab from it .

Cindy!!! NOO, Im not a pro! LOL!There is still a lot to learn. I have never learned machine quilting,,,but I can hand quilt pretty fast. I use a 14 in hoop on everything. Most all Ive learned was from watching Eleanor. What I love about her is that MOST of her patterns on tv can be done with or without the special rulers etc. I appreciate that so much as a lot of us simply cant afford to invest in a lot of tools etc. Some of the instructors on shows "tease" you with a method but you have to buy their tools to actually do the project. Thanks El!!!!

Oh Caroline, I don't know what I can add that hasn't already been said, except that I agree....so beautiful! The handwork is so nice and your choice of color and background...WOW! Talk about "eye candy", this is it!!!

I agree with Caroline that not all Wal-Marts are created equal. Wal-Mart in Calif has little or no selections of fabric. I guess they figure us California girls don't know what to do with fabric. But when i go to Texas or Georgia, they have lots of fabric in their Wal-Marts. You just have to watch the colors as sometimes I have found them faded a bit.

I think the white fabric really makes the quilt interesting. Lovely, Caroline.
