wonderful quilts and he is a great sport for modeling with them
the stitching on the hearts looks almost raised did you put ribbon or cording underneath or is it just the way I am looking at the photo

Gardenquilter - the hearts aren't raised. I did a heavy satin stitch around them with Sulky thread (I think). I loved that yellow fabric with the flowers - it spoke to me and said "make me into a baby girl quilt". So I did and gave it to my friend's (like family) daughter. I wish I had taken a picture of the back - it's pink with white polka dots.

the little quilt that Gavin is holding is the one that he helped me with - well, he pieced the border and put it on. I'm going to let him layer, pin, and quilt it.
