Is the block you are asking about a QIAD pattern from one of those books or from somewhere else? I have the Ice Cream Cone Quilt book and was going to try to look it up but am not able to locate anything similar. Hope to help.

I got a pm from wiggybutt/aka Donna and she said it is in a QIAD book. I don't have the book. Shes new at quilting and computers. So lets help her out ladies.

Is the block suppose to be 8 1/2???

I have the book and it appears that the block is 8 1/2 inch. I am going to try to make a sample block and them measure for you. It may take a few days because I have about 5 projects that have to be done by May 30. Hope this isn't too long, if you need me to do this sooner than that, just drop me a line and I will rearrange the projects.

Thanks Linda, have been swamped trying to get ready for DD grad in two weeks and haven't had time to try making a sample block of this one. We are having a house full and for the moment my sewing has to be on a back burner. Can't wait until I am done with the "have to do" list and can get on with the "cuz I want to" list!
