What color is your cutting mat?
I have had the green, gray, and now I'm using the June Taylor cutting mats because the colors are so pretty. I have the purple and light blue. I have lots of the Olfa green mats and a few of the Fiskars gray mats. I heard someplace that some of the brand name mats will actually dull the rotary blade faster than other brand mats. I don't think that is true though.

Gray, green, I think I had a white one... I don't remember, I've had so many.

My great big one is milky w/blue lines. My other one is pink on one side and yellow on the other. My little spinning mat is green.

Yikes, this is baaad! I had to go look! I have had one Olfa green mat and liked it for cutting, but hated the color because it blended too much with my fabric colors. Then I bought the gray fiskars and like them much better...I guess because they were a more neutral color. Last Fall, I saw Fiskars came out with the new two-sided mats in the new colors, pink on one side and yellow on the other. Much easier for me to see the fabrics against these lighter and brighter colored mats. My trouble now is that the lines on the mats are orange and the lines on the Fiskar rulers (which I also have and like) are also orange. I am thinking I am caught in a conspiracy to play matchy-matchy with my rulers and my mats.
) I have decided to keep everything I have until it all wears out from use!

My cutting table has the long 68 inch(?) milky white mat w/blue grid and numbers. I cut on an Olfa green mat. I like them because they are self healing. Are these others self healing too? I have sev. sizes of the green ones.

Mine are a 18x24 Olfa which is pretty well worn. I really should replace it with the 24x36 since that would pretty much cover the large area of my work table. I also have the 12x16 Olfa mat for smaller fabrics and is in actually better shape than the 18x24! I try to not buy mats unless I really need them.

Only two green olfa mats-a 24 x 36 on my cutting table and a 18 x24 that's near the sewing
machine for trimming. Love the colored ones, but don't need to replace these for quite a
while. I used to have the milky white with blue lines, but it finally cracked.

I have a 26x46 white Altos cutting mat. I just love it because I can't see very well on the darker mats. And it is a very good size mat.
