Got an opinion?
My dear quilting sisters,
Here I am again asking you for your help. Here's the challenge:
I am always looking for new notions and gadgets to add to our website. What products am I missing that you are looking for?
Thanks for your help,
Linda

Do you carry the magnetized pin holder? I don't know if I have seen one in the store .. that is one of my favorite things....
Can't wait to see what folks come up with ... I'll want everything

Hi Sue,
We do have a magnatized pin caddy but Clover came out with a new one that makes it easier to pick up the pins. It also aligns them. I have them on order but they have been so popular that Clover can't keep them in stock. I should have them soon.

Re: Got an opinion?
You're asking if this group has an opinion! This thread will probably wind up with more posts than the Fred Mertz Game!
All kidding aside, thanks for asking us about these things. It's nice to have an input.
Do you have Minkee fabric? I noticed that you have a couple of kits that use Minkee (like the Minkee Teddy Bear) but I couldn't find it in the regular list of fabrics. This fabric is growing in popularity.
How about a first aid kit just for quilters? :^) It could even have instructions in it for getting blood out of fabric.

Plain fusible interfacing? I see kits, and printed, but no plain.

Re: Got an opinion?
Is there an ironing board for quilters? This would be neat. Seriously, how often do you use your ironing board to iron shirts? I use mine to iron fabric and it would be neat to have a nice rectangle shaped ironing board that we could iron the entire width of fabric and still have a place to sit the iron on the end of it.
If someone does make these, it would be neat for QIAD to sell.

Evie-
They do make an ironing board like you described. Clotildie sold it in their catalog, at least they did the last time I received one. I thougt it was pretty expensive and the shipping cost was high because of the size of it. My DH actually made me one. He cut a good peice of plywood to size, added two peices of wood to the bottoem to keep it stable on my existing ironing board. Then we covered it with batting, then muslin and "wala", I have a large ironing surface that is big enough for my fabric and it also doubles as a cutting table.

Do we have an opinion?...I read this and was laughing before I even read Evie's response! LOL! I love thread and would love to purchase it from QIAD. I'm going to think about this today and compile my list because I'd prefer to use QIAD as my "one stop quilting shop" exclusively!

Re: Got an opinion?
I do have opinions but most people say they aren't worth much! With that said, I haven't found good hoops for hand quilting or thimbles and a good line of thread would be great--just my 2 cents!
Thanks for asking---I agree with GP and would like to do all my shopping right here!!!! I do like to feel the fabric but in exchange for the excellent prices and quality, I'll wait to fondle and cuddle when it comes to my door.

Irons. Also, I just ordered a pattern off ebay for a quilter's ironing board, haven't received it yet...
