Hi!
I'm new to this site so "Hi"! :-) I was reading thru the comments and have to relate to the wish I could call in sick to finish statements but like GeorgiaPeach, I couldn't because of not having someone to cover for the medical practice I work for. This will be my last week of working for a while so my machine will be buzzing!

Thank you for the warm welcome!! I am currently getting a room organized to be my quilting room as my eldest got married in December, the youngest moved into her old room so I nabbed this one while DH's back was turned. :-) Can't wait to get out my UFO's and get started again!

I've done something similar. I try not to, but once in a while it happens.
I go to school 40 hours a week. Come home and help with dinner and the girls. Put them to bed. Do a chore. Maybe get some studying done. Then I get hungry for some tv. So dh and I watch a few shows. Then it's midnight. The alarm goes off at 6am, and every 10 minutes thereafter because I keep punching the snooze button!!
Once I was up till 2 am, got up at 6 and still managed to get thru a day at school without frying anyone's hair off!! :)

Welcome DJCleary!

I've never called in sick to work, but I did call in late one day! I told them I was in the middle of a project that I just couldn't leave and asked them if they could get by w/o me for a little while. Actually I was just finishing a block for Cindyg for Kansas!

BTW On the local news here in Minneapolis was a story about a group of young kids that had a lemonade stand today and raised $400.00 for the Kansas folks! How sweet is that?
