I did it again
Does anyone ever do this. I was up until 1 am this morning piecing a quilt together knowing good and well that my alarm was going to go off at 5am to get me up for work, but I couldn't stop. So now I am at work thinking about how much more of the quilt I will be getting done tonight. It is looking so nice that I just wanted to keep going.

beccasmom ,yep, you're in good company with this! I resent that I have to sleep at all! It's squandering good quilting time, but I suppose it's necessary! LOL

LOL! Haven't we all done this? My only problem is that I tend to make really silly mistakes when I stay up too late to "just get one more thing done" and I end up redoing it the next day.

I'm with Leetec on this one! When I pull an "all nighter" I usually make stupid mistakes. I've
gotten into the habit of waking up early to have sewing time before I go to work. That way,
I'm fresh to do what I want to verses what I get paid to do! Makes for much better sewing on
my part.

How I'd love to pull an all nighter sewing. I don't though because the sewing room is right next to the other bedrooms. Yet, if my DH is working super late and our son is out, I'm in the sewing room happily sewing. When the dogs get tired which is usually 9:30 I tell them to hop on the bed and go to sleep. Heck, I haven't done an all dayer sewing. When that day does happen it's either leftovers or spaghetti sauce and sausage simmering all day in the crock pot, so I can just sew to my hearts content. Needless to say, the end result is so totally worth it!

I haven't done that in the longest time. I feel one coming on. I was putting my Jewel Box together last night and it is "looking good" as El says. After work I have to stop and get my oil changed and transmission serviced, go home & fix dinner and start a load of laundry so it will be late when I get in there tonight so this might be the night that I pull a 1 or 2 AMer.

Heck---I usually am just getting started around midnight! A pot of coffee usually helps keep me company!
