How a person can possbily go on a road trip without food is beyond me! Of course you have to have food, what else can you do while you're driving besides eat, smoke and sing! When My DD moved to Arizona from Minnesota, I drove her car down.. Had that baby fully stocked. Water, juice, crackers, cheese, chocolate, Coffee. Sure it means a lot of potty stops, but you have to get out and stretch your legs anyway right? Now that I have gotten into sewing again, the next road trip will be planned according to quilt shops that have public restrooms. Kill 2 birds with one stone. pee and shop! I wonder if AAA would plan a road trip showing all the quilt shops between one place and another! Who cares about the world's largest ball of string.. bring me fabric!

Yes Holon, if I am riding with you sweetie, please refrain from driving & playing the guitar at the same time. Save that for the rest stops. LOL

OMG, Mary, your comment about the world's largest ball of string cracked me up. I live about an hour's drive from the town that claims to have the world's largest ball of twine. It's right there on main street covered by a canopy so it won't get wet! We laugh every time we drive thru there. Needless to say, there are not hordes of tourists there.

Hey, y'all need to swing by Houston and pick me up! I love to sing, watch DVD's, eat (alot), suck butt, I'll even go to Hartz and pick up plenty of fried chicken titties, and we can also read quilting mags and books. Sounds like 'the' trip of a lifetime!
