I would love to have it be a retreat - maybe in the mountains?
Or - we could do it at my house!

Ok, Cathy and I have to be passengers, thank goodness I'm not the only one who doesn't drive worth beans, doesn't fly or cruise. I quilt...that's good enough! CindyB, watching QIAD DVD's in the van will be great fun. qltsbme, you definitely got my attention when you said grape salad! I've been hungry all day...started off with the recipe for that chicken salad, gooseeggs's watermelon salad, and now ya'll are talking choc.chip cookies........we're going to need a catering truck to follow us on this trip! I don't know about ya'll but traveling with me is like traveling with a toddler....I have to eat every 2-3 hrs., I swear! I never eat breakfast at home, but get me in a car and I've got to have a huge breakfast, you'd think I was a lumberjack the way I eat on the road!!! I do the same at our cabin or when we go camping! What causes that???!!!

Oh, GP, we'll do fine - we ALWAYS have snacks on road trips! Chips, soda (or tea in water bottles is a favorite of mine), I make the choc. chip cookies into bars, and they travel GREAT!

GP I don't know what causes hunger on a trip but it sure happens. I kaughed about you having to have a huge breakfast on a trip. I am the same way. At home I never eat before noon. We pack so many snacks to munch on when on the rd. we ususally skip lunch and then eat a nice dinner. But I do have to stop and visit a ladies room ever 3 or 4 hrs.LOL

Whew, that's a relief! I sure wouldn't want to be the "whiney-Lewis, Baby Ray" ruining everyone's trip because I was hungry non-stop!

That would be so much fun!!! A road trip without children! I love to drive but cant stand to be alone, I always have to have a passanger with me. But I have a nice big van that seats 7 and its a smoking allowed van too! So all you smokers who dont like to drive can ride with me!

Holon, my bag is packed just waiting until you pick me up! Sounds wonderful. I am trying to quit smoking but I would endure the suffering to be with you gals. LOL
