Hey I LOVE that Chartered Bus idea. I would like to see all of the QIAD folks faces when they get told "Your entire forum is outside." LOL This road trip sounds like a blast!!!

The more I read this forum, the closer I feel to all of you....is it possible that quilting is such a strong bond that it makes us all one big family?!? It's great, I've always wanted sisters....thank you for being here!!!

Gooseegg, of course we'll be your sisters! We all need sister to will our stashes too!
I could just see my daughter's face when they read my will and it says my stash gets divided between her, Georgiapeach, Gooseegg, Cindyg, Cindyb, Quilt_Florida, Tiggersmom...etc, etc!

Re: Who have you met from the Forum?
I was talking to Eleanor yesterday for a brief moment and asked her if we could work on getting the Forum friends together. She loved the idea and said we need to talk more about it. So, the pot is being stirred and we'll see what we can cook up! lol
I keep telling her how great this Forum is and how important it is to me and all of you. She has honestly been so busy she has still not had time to even visit yet. Karyn in Customer Service and I print out some discussions and give them to her so she is not completely in the dark! lol

Pick me up too! I need an 8 week vacation. And to meet all of you. And some cheesecake, peach cobbler, and whatever else you guys cook up. I see Lois you are from Modesto. Wish I had known. I was just there in early april. Found a cute little shop in Lodi. Was the first customer of the day so I got 20% off my backing fabric and a nice little canvas tote bag. Never know what will happen if you are there when the store opens. No, I wasn't anxious to check out a new shop!
A Friend is God's way of making sure we never walk alone!

Well from someone that has wanted a sister for 53 yrs now, you gals are the next best thing. I have 2 younger bros. & not too close to them. I really admire those of you that have a Sis. No, I envy yall. Ruthie & Nancy seem to have so much fun. I think that is just awesome. To me the word Sisters has such a special meaning. I hope all of you that are truly blessed with one or more, realize how special it is. Okay for the meet up----I am so in!!!!!!

Hi to all of you quilters!!
I have had a hoot reading all your posts, what fun. Makes me wish we all lived in the same city!! If you ever get that roadtrip going, put me on the mapp, I have an extra bedroom and 2 air mattress. I live about an hour north of Paducah in a small town called Crainville, but mail comes through Carterville. I would love to meet any or all of you. It is wonderful to know so many others enjoy the same craziness as I do.
For those of you in the midwest, remember, you can go to QIAD in Paducah. It is awesome!!
