rotary blades

Post by wardfan » Mon Dec 17, 2007 2:37 am

I am fairly new to the forum so if this question has been asked before I am sorry for repeating it but I was wanting to know if rotary blades are interchangeable or do you have to use the brand of blades that your cutter is? What brands are the best? I find my get really dull fast. Is there a solution to that? Thanks for any info.

Any brand will work as long as it's the right size for your cutter. I change blades at the first sign of a skip cut. Sometimes a blade will last me for a couple of months and sometimes just a few weeks. If I run over a pin or the edge of my ruler, the blade is a goner. I buy the bulk package of blades when I find a sale.

Wardfan - try taking your blade out and turning it over. Sometimes that helps.
