I got my new sewing machine!

I finally decided I was going to buy myself a new sewing machine. I came home with a Babylock Esante. Does anyone have a tips or advice for this machine? I went from a simple straight sewing machine to one with all the bells and whistles! I just hope I can figure it out!

I don't have any advice or tips but just wanted to Congratulate you on the new machine. That is exciting. Take your time and you will get it all figured out. Enjoy.

If you are close enough to the store - TAKE THE LESSONS!! I always learn something with each lesson I take. If you are not close enough to the store, read your book carefully and often. You'll probably pick up something new each time you go through the book.

I at least took it out of the box and set it up. I'm almost afraid of it! LOL! I plan on taking the lessons whenever I can work them in. Hopefully now with winter coming (I know, what dreaded words!) I'll have more indoor time.

I know that was a lot of money for this machine but I hope to retire in 10 to 12 years and I thought I had better be buying my toys now.
