How do you store your cutting mats and rulers?

Re: Cutting Mats/Rulers: Storing them
My rulers hang on my pegboard. If they come holeless my DH drills a hole in them for me. My large cutting mat hangs on the wall behind the door - DH drilled 2 holes in the shortest end. That way it stays flat and it still out of the way. My other mat is on my cutting table as well as my rotating cutting mat.

I kept mine hanging on the wall before we moved. They're laying flat under my bed for now.

Rulers less than 18" are in a boot box under the chest of drawers. The 18" and 24" long rulers are hanging on a nail on the side of the book case and the 20" square ruler is slid between the desk and another bookshelf.
The small mats (anything under 15" wide) go in the boot box with the rulers. The larger mats slid behind the chest of drawers.

My matts are laying on the table that I use to cut. My rulers, the long ones are on a nail above the table my small ones are on the table in a rack made especially for them that I purchased at a quilt show. Marge

Re: Cutting Mats/Rulers: Storing them
I have cutting mats on my sewing table and my machine sits on one. I have several on my cutting table, one of top to the other. I buy cutting mats like I do rotary blades. I see a new color of mat and I buy it. I like to change out for variety in my sewing room. My rulers are stored in a desk file holder on a bookshelf.

Thanks...good suggestions. I have several large rulers and several smaller ones...I would like them handy to grab when I need them. I only have 2 cutting mats which are on a shelf right now. You have helped a lot...............
