My first project on journaling. I enjoyed it, and was very obsessed to finish it. Now I can concentrate on quilting again.

That's very interesting and something that is completely new to me.

Wow....I've never seen anything like that. How big is it? That's really cool.

It's going to be a wall hanging. It's about 24" x 24"

Maybe I should explain it a little.
The sand dune fence has words on it - like anger, sad, feelings that should be left behind before you get to the beach.
The sea grass has some sayings and feelings about the beach.
The words that go in a semi circle on the top are words of wisdom.
The words under the margarita glass were some things on my vacation.
When you are on the beach, ad planes go by. Mine says: Seamist answer to Margaritaville. That's why the margarita glass is there - enjoyed them and corona's ( different days!)
There are 50 feet for 50 days of vacation.
And the lizard, always saw a lizard on the walkway to the beach.
I 'colored' with pencils and pastels. Wrote with a sharpie.
That's about it.
You can journal on anything. Another idea (but I'm not going to do it) is draw an old fashioned cradle and write words of wisdom for your grandchildren.

I've never seen or heard anything about doing this. It is very pretty and well done. You are very talented.

How cool & creative. A great way to scrapbook on fabric for fun memories. Looks like a lot of patience and work. Great job.

THAT IS A VERY NEAT IDEA. I'VE NEVER SEEN ONE BEFORE. I THINK IT WOULD MAKE A NICE WALL HANGING TOO, MAYBE A BRIDAL SHOWER OR BABY SHOWER GIFT.
