Whacky for Stack and Whack Revisited

Post by calicopuzzle » Sat Sep 01, 2007 1:14 pm

Here are four stack and whack pictures to show how much fun can be had with some of that repititious fabric out there. It is always fun to see the results. I don't cut through all the thicknesses as Bethany Reynolds recommends..much to difficult for my rotary cutter to handle.

Those are very nice Calicopuzzle - I haven't done a stack and whack yet

These are very nice.

I've tried a few rounds but couldn't find a good background. I really like the black background with all the colors standing out. Thanks for sharing, maybe I'll pull those (UFO) blocks out and see what I can do with them now.

I've had her first book forever but never could understand just how this pattern was cut. A guild member showed me how to fold, measure and cut the fabric. I have the pieces cut but I haven't sewn it together yet. It's on my list to do before Christmas. Have you seen the Stacked Posies pattern? It used only four patches and everyone that makes one says it addictive.

What a great job you did. I started one but will have to redo it. I didn't do it right and nothing came out right.

I love stack N whack!! You never really know what it is going to look like until you sew it together. Yeah, I know a mirror would give you a good idea, but I'd rather be surprised. These make great baby quilts. Good job!! :) S
