My Sewing Room Open for Business:)

Post by SFOQuilter » Sun Jul 08, 2007 2:10 pm

Hi Everyone,

After moving into San Francisco I finally have my quilting space up and running and wanted to share. Lucky for me we have a very large (17 X 15) spare bedroom which I share with my DH. He has a music studio on one side and on the other I have my sewing equipment. The ensuite bath is my ironing station and the walk in closet has two tall dressers where I store my fabric and other supplies. And to celebrate the move I splurged on new Koala furniture! And we have a lot of light because of the patio door and deck...which overlooks the San Francisco Bay. I love it. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I plan on visiting (and posting) often:)

I'm working on an ABC baby quilt now. I embroidered the letters and have started making the blocks. I will post some photos when I have it together.

Isn't it great to get all settled in? Looks great.

Love those baby blocks. Did you do them on an embroidery machine. They are spectacular. If you did them by hand then they are REALLY spectacular.

I just looked at your pictures again. What is that large machine next to your sewing machine. Is that like a professional embroidery machine or something?
