Eleanor's Birthday
Eleanor's birthday is July 3. If you are interested in wishing her a Happy Birthday from the Forum, send a FQ to me, with your name and Forum Name. I will collect them all, put them in a box and wrap it and present it to her from all of us, the Forum. I will have pictures taken of her opening the box and post them on the Forum.
She loves patriotic fabrics, red, white and blue.
What do you think? Anyone who is interested just send your FQ to me at:
Linda Parker
Quilt in a Day
1955 Diamond St

We have to move quickly on this since July 3 is just around the corner.

Krazy4quilts Welcome! Hope you will enjoy it here and post often so we can get to know you. How long have you been quilting? Do you hand quilt, machine quilt or LA? What type is your favorite quilt? What state are you from? Sorry for all of the questions, we just like to get to know about the new members. Join in and make yourself at home.

Thanks for the "Welcome", Cindy and mequilter! You're right, it IS addicting! I'm going to complain! I can't get a thing done anymore!
My home state is Washington. Been here since '76 and love it. The first half of my life was spent in California (yeah, California girl turned web-foot!)
I am definitely a machine quilter. The way I figure it, at 64 I don't have enough years left to be a hand quilter! Would love to have a LA! Don't know where I would put it, though. Hey, we can dream, right?
I posted to the "Who Are You" discussion. That will tell you a bit more and I will go over the names again and review what you guys have to say.
This forum really is a kick. It's a blessing, too. Just reading the posts is heartwarming. What a group of really nice people.
I think that in the future I will be able to count my quilting buddies on more than one hand.

Re: Eleanor's Birthday
Hey welcome Krazy4Quiltz and fellow Washingtonian! I can't boast about being here long though, as we have only lived here about 3 years now (transplanted from Oregon). You have found absolutely the best, best quilt site and a wonderful place to meet new quilting friends! You couldn't have found a better bunch of people! Enjoy!

Re: Eleanor's Birthday
I think I posted something on the other thread regarding the FQ's for Eleanor's birthday. I just don't have any patriotic fabric, so I hope it will be OK to send something else. Plus, I made a big boo boo and cut it 18" x 18". Don't know what I was thinking. Will that be OK Linda?
