SUPPER CLUB - Wed, NOVEMBER!! 1st
Good morning,
Chilly this morning but about 8 degrees warmer than the last 3 days so I'm good!
Yesterday was finishing my last two little sewing projects - Amara's cloth book and the waterproof cover for our toaster oven. Did 3 loads of laundry and got almost the last of everything packed. Today my sewing machine goes into the trailer. Along with the last of the food we're taking along - mostly the fridge stuff. I have chiro appt this morning and we have happy hour at Doyle & Susie's at 4pm. Still not sure if we're leaving tomorrow afternoon and just going 100 miles to a casino with free parking or if we are waiting until Friday and then making the longer run to southern Oregon all in one day (350 miles). Weather will determine. Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy, Friday not. It's no fun driving in the rain.
I checked in on IRISH'S eagle cam in PA. The eagles have returned! Foxy and I were watching them fluff their nest. Foxy was most interested! I sent a pic to Irish and got an update on her. Her heart hasn't been behaving so she has been housebound for a quite a while, so doing quite a bit of sewing. Her sister is finally getting her hip replacement Nov 20th. And her DGS, Dan, finally proposed to his long time girlfriend while they were on a scuba-diving trip in Hawaii. They've set a date for next September.
TINA - happy day to find those templates! Look again! Maybe your paper is there, too! Maybe a gift certificate for a manicure would be a nice gift for Holly (or a selection of pretty nail polishes?). Or a holiday sweater? Or a book. She's a teacher so she must love to read.
BECCA - your family always has good parties! A new thrift store with a christmas sale coming up?? What fun! I hope you find just the right stuff!
LORI - That corn and tomatoes (also the pumpkin) patterns are from Lori Holt's Farm Girl Vintage. I think it was the second one. They seemed purrfect and I just happened to have a scrap of corn fabric!
I was going to make spinach ravvies tonite but we're to go to D&S's for happy hour. We'll be home in time for supper, but we're usually full of appetizers. I hear there will be cheese and crackers and probably nuts and fruit, too.
What's happening with your supper tonite?

Hi all, I'm a little late.
Mary, LOL I did look for that paper when I found the templates, no luck but funny we both thought the same thing.
Holly used to be a huge reader but I guess with all the reading and lesson plans she does now she doesn't read for enjoyment anymore.
I'm going to look at Sam's when we go tomorrow and see if they have anything. I could always go into Hobby Lobby and find her something LOL she loves that place!
Amara is adorable in her costume, she looks like a little princess
Love your and Bill's costumes!
I'm cleaning today, having a little trouble with my left ankle, it must have excess fluid on it because it's not bending right and will leave me in the middle of the room without a way out..... so I have to limp to something to help. It does it sometimes, maybe the weather getting cooler is a culprit
We haven't thought about supper tonight, tomorrow is eating with Kevin, Maria and the boys after T-ball.
Sorry so short, I gotta scoot.
Tina

Becca, that's not very warm. We are double that today. It cools off at night to mid 50/s though. The heat only lasts a couple hours and doesn't heat up the house.
Tina, I have an ankle that acts up now and then. The joys of old age. lol. Hope you're feels better soon.
Mary, I have that book. I'm going to make a few of those blocks too. I bet you are ready to get on the road.
Not too much longer and you'll have the adorable little baby in your arms. I bet you can't wait. Safe travels.
We didn't have many trick or treater's last night. It's a tradition that's fading. So sad. It used to be so much fun for the kids. I did a bunch of running arounds this morning. Now I'm finishing up the blocks I was going to do yesterday. I didn't sew at all yesterday. It was filled with busy stuff.
Dinner will be orange chicken, rice and a veggie.
Have a lovely day.

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Wed, NOVEMBER!! 1st
Good Evening,
The Gas Company came out today to light the pilot on the wall heater. He found the pilot was "soft" and fixed it. He told me if it was "soft" it might blow out. Guess what? The pilot blew out last winter! Like Lori said we sure don't need the heater right now it is quite warm.
Dinner tonight was Garden Vegetable Soup I made today.
Maryz - Glad you checked on Irish. You will be ready to leave tomorrow even if Bill wants to wait until Friday. Sounds like you are "chomping on the bit"!
Tina - Hope your ankle felt better as the day wore on. Enjoy your dinner with Kevin, Maria and boys. Bet you can't wait to get those hugs!
Becca - Sounds like you are enjoying your family time! Sounds like the Church is also working out well for you!
Lori - We had no ToT last night. I am so glad it cools off at night! We certainly have had warm days!
