Well, it looks like March is coming in like a lion here! Yesterday it poured hard rain all day long. I never even poked my head out the door. No morning walk. Even Scottie made quick work of every trip he made outside. But it looks to be letting up a little today so my walk will happen. I think.
Life goes on here. Pretty quiet. Bill is still quilting and I think my Christmas swap quilt will come off the frame later this morning. Only two more tops to go!! I hope he can keep up this pace. I have nothing waiting for him in the wings either. Though last night I did come across a couple of scrappy patterns in an old BLOCK magazine that I really liked . . .

TINA - you and Frankie are really getting things whipped into shape at your house! But you need to take a break, Girl. I'm tired after reading about all you're doing!
BECCA - I'm really happy to hear these treatments seem to be working well for you! And good idea to steer clear of the stairs until you feel you are stable enough. Going up is one thing, but coming down can be another.
VELDA - I will try to get a picture of my RWB stars posted. It turned out even better than I'd hoped. We use Demand every now and then. The only thing is you have to sit through the commercials. After using the DVR and whizzing by all the ads, that's kind of hard to do, but it does give you time to go potty and fill your wine glass!

MARY ROSE - I liked doing that Celtic Twist block. In fact, I liked it when it came out in the 2016 magazine that we worked from and I had removed it from the mag and put it in my binder so I had it all waiting and ready to go! I've seen very small hams packaged and also ham steaks, 3 to a package, or like Tina and Velda said, about 6 thick slices to a package. But I haven't seen a ham in a tin in years. When we're getting tired of ham, I cube it up and freeze it to pop into split pea soup, scalloped potatoes, etc.
JANA - apparently you did a good job teaching your kids to drive! Is all your TV stuff working yet? We're all set for St. Patrick's day here, too. I could use one more green quilt. I do have an Irish Chain on my to-sew list and even have all the fabrics for it. Just haven't done it yet. Maybe I'll win those Celtic Twist blocks . . .
I was thinking of having chicken fajitas for supper tonite, though we do have leftover ham . . . Maybe I need to rethink this. I could make split pea soup instead. I guess I better run it by the DH Approval Council. Stay tuned . . .
