Good morning! At this moment we are 40 miles west of Bozeman Montana. Will be going into Yellowstone today. Weather has been from 88 to 98 for highs. Hot! But this morning we have clouds and wind. Supposed to start raining in two hours and snow in Yellowstone by later this evening. Sigh. It’s been quite a trip. Pulled muscle in back of my knee first night out, Then our friend, trying to help, changed our rezzies for first 2 nights and we ended up in hot, dry, shade-less dump of a campground, (and eating a $50 cancellation fee when we cancelled the rezzies we already had), tore the skin on the roof of our trailer going thru a tunnel to get into a campground, and now snow. At least it’s all been an adventure. I’ve been working on my 50 hand embroidered state bird blocks. I’m half done with #49. Each block takes me between three and six days

Jana, your brownie bites sound good. But I have to say, I prefer the inside pieces of brownies, cake, etc
It’s getting light so time to grab my shower so we can hit the road. Going to be a windy drive today. Have about 200 miles to go to our campsite
Our plan is to grill burgers with my sister and brother-in-law. We also have corn on the cob and she is making some kind of salad.

Mary, bummer about the trailer. Hopefully it can be repaired to good as new. Have fun with your sis.
Yesterday afternoon, Shane and Danelle came over to watch the Cub game with us. They had just finished the 1 inning when Shane got a call from his best friend daughter saying her dad had shot himself. They had just arrived in TX on Friday for a new beginning and were in the middle of unpacking. We don't know the details of what or why, but this is so sad for his wife and 2 daughters. We've spent a great deal of time with them over the years.
I will try and finish up quilting a braid quilt today. I would like to get it done before I leave. Other than that I have some packing to do for my trip.
For dinner we had pastrami sandwiches and fries.

Mary - ouch for your trailer. Matt has to pay attention to the size of things too with his rig. He always takes his half out of the middle, especially in a tunnel.
Lori - we must have smoke from your fires, my mountains are gone again.
Not much going on here. Monday uglies and then I will head to the Batt Cave and mark a quilt.
Dinner will be the soup I need to make.
Matt was out last night and Scott was over too. Scott had a silly photo he needed to take, using Ethan's pedal John Deere tractor, and stayed to visit. Scott is finishing his last semester for his degree in Software Engineering. He will graduate in December. Scott has been working for 30 years as a software engineer, now has the paper to go with it.
Matt's truck most likely has a bad fuel injector. Matt has a longtime friend from his childhood, who is a trained diesel mechanic. Jared, the friend, listened over the phone to the sound the truck was making, and by his experience said it was a injector. Still expensive to fix, but on the lower end of what it could be. Jared told Matt that it is common for the brand of engine Matt has in his truck. Mom still teased Matt, that's what moms do!
Well, my laundry fairies are no where to be found, guess it's up to me.

Thank you for the well wishes for our anniversary!
Tonight's dinner will be the Turkey Burgers and Potato Salad we had planned for last evening. We do have ice cream and cake for dessert.
We were both so hot yesterday we didn't feel like a full meal. DH had a sandwich and I had some pasta & meat sauce leftover. We had snacked so it was enough.
I had two Zoom meetings today that were information about Zoom. I learned things and feel we can do more. Everyone is learning so now is a great time to join in and learn too.
I ordered the pumpkin block that is on the front page of QIAD it is so cute! However, I meant to order Insulbrite and forgot. Do I do another order or not??? I will decide later.

Lori - I just reread your message. I am so sorry about your friend. Suicide is so hard on those left behind. I am sad for you. Prayers for all those grieving.
