HOW DO YOU TEST A FABRIC FOR IT TO BE COLOR FAST?

Ratio water to vinegar. Hot or cold water? Do they still sell those test sheets in stores?

I don't test mine, I just assume any dark color is likely going to bleed some so wash separately. Place a white rag in the wash water with the fabric when you wash. That will tell you.
