I'M LOOKING FOR A PATTERN CAN YOU HELP??
I am looking for the Double Wedding Ring pattern from Mountain Mist.
Do you remember when Mountain Mist had patterns on the back of the paper wrapper of their quilt batting? Yeah a long time ago.
The pattern didn't have the curved pattern pieces at the end of each arc. The wedges of the arc were all the same shaped and joined with a 4-patch at each end. It is much more simple to put together and they lay flat.
I have found several pictures online using this pattern, but no pattern. I have a Mountain Mist book, but the wedding ring quilt isn't in this book. Maybe someone would have an older issue from their company with the pattern.
I found a picture of the quilt at www.milkandhoney.com. It's an old blog. The piecing is perfect and beautiful.
Thanks

John Flynn wrote a book on the double wedding ring. If my memory is correct it has the 4 patch at the end of the arcs. You might try to find that book. It is excellent and has very good instructions on assembly.
