Daily Devotion 8/12

Here we are in a political year where we will have to choose a new leader. Boy doesn't this verse fit perfectly. We need to choose wisely and choose a new leader that will put GOD back into the picture. I am not sure either candidate has a strong and faithful walk with the LORD; yet we really don't know except by their actions and walk.

We also need to be in prayer that God is not shoved out of our state governments as well as our country's. We as a nation are so quick to follow the newest thing or person. We see the glam and the glitz and bam we are wagging our tails and drooling after it. We as a people have lost connection with the brightest star out there--JESUS.

Pray today for our nation, your state, and our leaders.

Izzy For a long time I have been praying for our Country to turn back to God & have Godly leaders.I know he is in control.If I wasn't a Christian I would be very anxious.
Many prayers that we will have a return to the Lord & know he is our guide.Becca

The prayer of the righteous will be heard. We must with due diligence look and elect men and women that uphold the principles of truth. They are out there, hard to find, but are there.

This is a blessed land and was chosen by the Lord to fulfill his purposes. It will go to heck first, but the Lord is there, ready to save us once again, if we but turn to Him.
