SUPPER CLUB - Saturday, June 11

Good morning!

We made it to southern Utah. It is hot! Yesterday was 97°. Today should be only mid 80s Sure hope so. At least campground is full of big trees so we are she did. Next to my sisters RB, and my brother is on her other side. Brother leaves this morning for Moab Utah with they will visit their son.

Jana, your salt lake city is crazy on the freeways. So much construction and so many crashes and so much metro-about 100 miles. ( to be honest, he reminded us very much of Tacoma, Seattle, Everett highway's which are no different. ). we hit town about 7:30 AM-smack in the middle of rush hour. Not too much fun pulling 38 feet of trailer. So we will not go home that route but are taking highway 50 west into Nevada and 93 north through Jackpot into Twin Falls.

I hope we can hit the trails fairly early this morning before gets too hot. My sister has decided that "they "will not be riding ATVs after all. She doesn't care for it which is fine but her hubby loves it. But she has convinced him he's too old. Haha. we are not sure why they even came this is the ATV capital of the world with a 2000 mile trail system. So Bill and I will ride alone. Or maybe I will have to stay in camp one day and let my bil have my seat. We will be here thru June 16

Becca I am sorry to hear your hubby has had a bad week. I hope things improve some for you both.

Izzy, same with you. I remember the days of caring for my dad. It was hard on everybody. But I do wish I had him back for even just one day.

Dinner tonight will be a turkey breast cooked in the crockpot. I will add some dressing, mashed potatoes, and cooked carrots.

Hello everyone,sunny & to be really hot here but not 97, too hot for me.DH really cannot tolerate the heat anymore either.

Maryz I would have been very thankful to be off the interstate pulling a big camper.That gets to me.Of course I am a country girl.Enjoy your trail rides.

I got my walk in,yard mowed,tomatoes tied up, & planted some of my Zinnias & marigolds.Hope the heat doesn't zap them.
We have meatloaf left & cramed potatoes.Will add brocolli.,,..Becca

DD said today they have friend & family there helping them pack up.Tomorrow is their last day at their Church.That makes it hard.Mark has served as Pastor for 5 yrs.But his new work will be to Pastors not a congregation. Becca

Good early afternoon from sunny, summer like, SW. Pa....We are to hit 90 today, can you believe it!

Mary, so good to hear from you but hate to hear about the traffic...Kind of puts a damper on things....I love when someone tells another person, he/she is "too old" to be doing something....We're really have the nursing homes filled up if everyone believed that.....

Becca, sorry about your DH....You take each day as it comes..Will certainly keep the both of you in my prayers.....

I just had a message from my sister and she had been rushed to the hospital and after tests, found it's her allergies....She had been working in her basement, found a leak from a broken downspout that had caused mold in the walls, carpet and a sofa and of course after breathing in the air, her allergies and lungs are causing problems...Now, she needs help breathing and needs to see a lung specialist......

Now, I'm off to spoil DGS's furbabies....As for our dinner, it's going to be something very light, maybe just big salads......Jim never feels like eating and I really need to eat better, not just a bowl of chips, lol.......
