Daily Devotion 6/10

Don't you hate it when your talking with someone about church or religion that they will often try to bring up something in the past that you did that was soo very wrong or mention a time in your life that you were lost in sin? I hate it that people are so quick to point out the wrong or the bad that has happened in someone's life and they never mention or identify the good.

JESUS doesn't do this. Once you accept HIM to forgive you of your sins then those sins are as far gone and forgotten as the East is from the West. He sees you as redeemed by His blood. Your sins are forgiven. Now this doesn't mean you get to keep on sinning and HE will forget those too. Yes, HE forgives us of our wrong doing but if we make no change in our lives to live right and work for HIM then YES He is hurt and the world will see you as a hypocrite.

Don't let the world dredge up your past. LIVE now for Jesus sake and be forgiven!!

God Bless
Izzy

It is wonderful to use the gift of the atonement that He gave us. I have in the past taught that when we get to heaven and we have used that great gift, our life will be shown in front of us like a movie, with all we did right and lots of blank screen time for all of the sins that were forgiven.

Thanks,
Jana
