Supper club-Friday, February 13
My computer is down and out this morning, so I am dictating on my phone. Sometimes it has a mind of its own so please forgive anything I might say it's not me honest this will be short tonight's dinner is still an unknown. We had tacos last night so maybe tonight will be chicken and a baked sweet potatoes with salad. Jenna have a happy happy birthday! And Sarah too!

Mary - your phone behaved!
Dinner tonight is still unknown here too. It will be out somewhere. Yesterday we went out to lunch. Saw, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives the other night and Guy Fieri did one not far from the house. It was very good. He has done many here in SLC, so we may hit another for dinner tonight. Up one of the canyons is Ruth's Diner - very good food, Michael had thought to go there tonight. It too was featured on the show.

Tonight is chopped sirloin patties on the inside grill...and corn and something else! Not sure what, yet.

Good early afternoon from sunny, but very, very cold....Our temps are hovering around zero, yep, that's a big 0 but with the sun, it probably feels like 2.......Oh well, one of these days..............
Yesterday was an errand day along with Jim helping with the elderly bingo....I did manage to get most of my running done and then very conveniently the car pulled into Subway on the way home....So no cooking again last night...
The other day, I said about stopping at Marketplace but what I meant was Market Day...Didn't I tell you the brain sometimes goes on vacation and leaves me behind....Well, any how, I was disappointed, couldn't get my apple thingies....
Jane, Happy Birthday and whatever you do or where ever you go, hope it's extra special.....I really like the 3 "Ds" with Guy Fieri..The way he eats all that hot food, his tummy must be cast iron...But, he is good..
Mary, hope you get your computer problems worked out...Mine has been giving me fits lately as well..I've told DGS, Dan the computer nerd, but getting him to stop will take a pumpkin pie and that baker has been on strike in this house.....Maybe this weekend.....Are you still on for your hike and picnic? I think that's great but maybe a bit too far...Just give me a turn around the block and then I'd be ready to eat.....
Well, as far as dinner, that's a good question....I did make some egg salad and maybe a sandwich paired with the real mac & cheese might be good...But, in this house, even the best of plans often get waylaid.....

I was going to post from my phone and couldn't remember if I did or not. I didn't. I' going to be gone, but DH will be feasting. I fixed him a steak and a baked sweet potato. All he has to do is take if from the fridge and heat it. I'm picking up my DD and going to the visitation for her BFF's mom. I'll enjoy the visiting time with my DD and hearing about her new job--pharmacy tech. She started on Monday, and she's been so busy--it will be nice for her to just sit and ride for awhile.
