SUPPER CLUB - Sun, Jan 25th
Good Morning! We are in Ely, NV where it is a balmy 19*. I know lots of you are even colder this morning but how many of you are camping?? Brrr!! Our fifth-wheel is an Arctic Fox, so named because it's insulated for winter camping and frozen temps. However . . . It's still gosh-darn chilly here!
Last night for supper we had a Stouffer's frozen lasagna. Good golly, but it was bad! We picked up some frozen meals before leaving Texas for easy suppers on the road. This one was a mistake! Tonite will be gumbo using a Zatarain's Rice mix (it's like Rice-a-Roni). I'll add some peas in for color. We have some cooked, diced pork in the freezer I might add, or canned chicken. I used up all the sausage already. you all KNOW it won't be Anything Out of the Water!
What's in Your freezer for tonite? Or will supper come out of your wallet?

Good morning, Mary! You are closer and closer to home. Too bad about the Stouffer's--they are supposed to be good.
We were invited to DS1's tonight for dinner. I'm making guacamole and a birthday cake for the friend who is celebrating 70.
Enjoy!

Good afternoon from cold, dreary, skies are very grey and looks like we could get dumped on at any minute.....
Mary, so good to see you (even if you are shivering)....Won't be long now and you'll be back in the warmth of your own home...I can't wait to see how Foxy takes to his new home....He's one lucky furbaby....Too bad about the frozen lasagna...As much as they advertise, you'd think it would be special.....
Mentioning lasagna, just this morning, after Mass and breakfast, of course we had to stop at Aldi's and I picked up the fixings to make lasagna...It's been ages since I've made it (usually beg some from Kevin's wife)) but thought I'd be daring...Hope it's better than the Stouffer dish.....
But, as far as dinner, that's a toss up....Where we have breakfast, they make the best veggie soup and I came home with a big container (always better than mine)..So, soup and whatever or there's still 2 pieces of left over pizza....Sounds like a non cooking day for me.....
Happy eating...................
