Good Morning Judi,

Hard to believe that I am only the second one to post today. Thought I was getting kinda a late start.

Yesterday I took my Christmas quilt that I am putting together from the blocks I received as a teaser from my SS along with me to our sewing group meeting. We were all working on different projects. I took my sewing machine with me, but ended up not even using it, because I was so busy getting the "sandwich" put together.

Lyn was busy cutting squares for her new project. What beautiful colors!! Lots of busy ladies. It's a fun group.

Today, I think I will start quilting on my quilt. I am looking forward to posting pictures for you all to see.

Oh, yes, and Lyn had another SS teaser gift to deliver to me yesterday. WOW, my SS is really spoiling me!!! This was a really neat Tablerunner pattern. I will have to give it a try when I get this quilt finished.

I need to do some uglies today as well. Willy is always spreading his extra hair allllllll over the place. LOL

Well, off to sip my coffee. Have a great day!!

Velda

I started my walking program up again today. I'm hoping for some stress relief but I hurt from doing it and I only walked a mile. Got to start somewhere.

I had a good visit with Tia and the babies yesterday. Nice time and I held Timmy for a few hours :-) Jovanna is too busy to be held. She is all over the place :-) Grandpa put on some music for her and they danced, fun times.

Have a great day,
Vicky

Good morning.. it's almost my weekend... and today will be my busiest day at work so it should fly by..

Kathy, I am so glad you're feeling better... I always wash the sick off the sheets when I feel better too....when do you leave for Texas.. bet you're excited about that trip.. happy quilting.

Maryz.. glad that for the most part the shop opening went well.. maybe they will give you some kind of perk for forgetting to give you your fabric...so? are you making a quilt for your other friend?

Cindyg.. I could sub Jerry out to do painting, but he's not finished here yet...someone at work just had a surgery that cleaned out his sinuses and straightened the cartlidge between his nostrils.. he said it worked wonders for his allergies... not sure I am quite ready to put kleenex out of business by having this surgery but it's something to ponder..

Maryq.. woo hoo on the scarfs.. I tried to sew Mineke once and it stretched all out of shape.. it wasn't pretty....I have no idea what Marilyn really wants for Christmas.. it changes daily.. but she sure can tell you what she wants to be for halloween next year.. kids are goofballs.

Velda, you are getting some neat secret santa things.. happy sewing.

Izzy, you sure have your hands full... hope DFD calms down...

Karlene.. how wonderful of you to make dinner for Victoria and Rich.. I bet they were thrilled...

Chickie.. sorry about the weird dream.. if I am going to have a scarry dream it is always by 11:00.. when I wake up and look at the clock it says 11:00 give or take a few minutes... my grandma used to make spiced walnuts..they were good..sorry about the coyotes.. they sure are icky aren't they?

Sharona, how cool to have tracks in the cement.. a zillion years from now an archeologist will find them and decide they are from some instinct animal.. and all because you wanted an outbuilding.. you really started something there...lol

Lyn, I must have missed it.. did you get your Colorado house all un flooded and back to normal? I told Marilyn the grandma and tea story, she loved it.

Mel.. hope your not it soon...

Scrappy Pat.. I don't have much get up and go either.. but boy this weekend I will be holed up in my room sewing like a wild woman.. gotta get that SS gift ready to ship.. and I need to put binding on my scrappy charm quilt so I can put together the GFG you gave me for my b-day...

Jana, I should send Jerry and Marilyn to your house for Christmas decorating.. they were trying to talk me into putting the tree up this weekend... brats.

Judi, happy sewing day.. hope the wood stacking gets put off so you can play all day.

Becca, happy fabric shopping.

Vicky, how cool for Jovanna to get to dance with her grandpa... my grandpa was so important in my life and if she has half of that with her grandpa she will be very blessed...

Where is Tina? give her a grandkid and never see her again.

Jerry is painting the dinning room today... we have furniture everywhere while the painting is going on.. I am so excited to have it all done.

do you all have a backsplash behind your stove? I need to know what you like and don't like.. it will be something we put in soon and I need to know what doesn't and does work...

and now I am off to work.. you all have a great day,
Chriss

Good Morning.....
All the snow is gone & we'll go into the 50s today. I'll do a few daily uglies & finish the binding on DD2's quilt. Yes, I sewed like I was on speed yesterday. I talked to her yesterday it seems she & DGD went camping over night with the Girl Scouts the porta-potty was full so she cut back her water as the other potty was 15mins away. When she came home she drank plenty. But she caught a bug & dehydrated again fainted 2x & off to the hospital. She's all fine now. She had to take a cab home at 4am, her husband couldn't leave the children home alone to pick her up. They all have the tummy bug now.

Judi.....are you tossing a lot from the basement? A good basement purge always feels so good. Will be praying for you friend.

Velda....blocks are a wonderful teaser, can't wait to see it.

Becca.....it always feels so good to finish a project...congrats. Happy shopping.

Vicky....I'm happy to see your feel better & can start walking. You are right there always have to be a starting point. Good luck.

Chriss....hoping your day is smooth. I'll be leaving the 25..Mon & returning the 29..Fri. I need to talk to her about longer trips. I have no bale splash anywhere. I want one just neeed to go to home depot to pick it out. It will be light, maybe glass, tile. What are you thinking of????

I'm off to dress & have my oatmeal.

Love & prayers.

Judi - you and Annabelle stay warm. Sorry you have to do wood today.

Velda - your sewing group sounds like so much fun. The only time I get to sew with other people is when Vicki, Sue and I have a sew in but that's only about 3 times a year, maybe 4. It sure is fun though.

Becca - it's a real shame that you have to go to the quilt shop today. LOL LOL

Vicky - oh, how sweet that grandpa would put on music and dance with his DGD. Great memories. Did you get pix? And you got to hold the baby for hours - ahhhhh.

Chriss - I have a few friends who have had the sinus roto-rootering done but they had chronic sinus problems. My allergies only act up when the Ragweed is in bloom, the mold spores are thick, or I'm in an enclosed area with cats and sometimes when the Pines and Oaks are pollinating. And when I'm lucky these things don't bother me. It's crazy. I wish some of Jerry would rub off on Don - my house really needs painting badly.

I'm at work WITH NO COFFEE!!!!!! I accidentally broke the coffee carafe yesterday when I was setting the pot for this morning. I'm waiting for the boss to go to WalMart and get us another one. Have to wait until he's finished putting out fires. I had to sit down last night with my Thanksgiving grocery list so I didn't have time to sew before "Nashville" came on. Maybe tonight. Prayers sent up for all spoken and unspoken needs here.

I hope we can all fondle fabric today.

Kathy - oh, my goodness, you DD has had one thing after another - bless her heart. I love the glass tile, too. It adds a little sparkle to the kitchen.

Good morning, good morning,
Victoria had family from Rich's side yesterday so I stayed home and cleaned. I think we have caught the final mouse (and he was tricky to catch!) so I did a mouse clean-up yesterday. I washed out all the cupboards he was in and ran all the contents through the dishwasher. I'm glad he is gone. I also quilted a UFO and just have the borders left to do tonight. I have three UFOs I want to finish up by next weekend, and then the machine gets put away for the Christmas season - *gasp* I can't believe it's that time already!!! I know, I know, some of you started reminding us all that Christmas was coming awhile back!

Cindyg - hope you get a new coffee pot soon!

Kathy - sorry to hear about your daughter. Elizabeth had 2 consecutive trips to the doctor's office where she fainted. The first time it was due to dehydration, but no real explanation on the second. I was starting to worry that she was going to faint anytime she went into a doctor's office, but she made it though her most recent visit with out getting woozy! And her vertigo is almost gone.

Chriss - glad you have a busy day that will go quickly. The last days of last week and the ones so far this week have been busier than normal here. I'm not sure what today will bring.

Okay, onwards and upwards,
Karlene

Good morning :o)
Chriss, LOL I'm here, I'm here :o) I've been doing uglies and then I finally got to see my great niece that was born 3 1/2 months ago and then went and visited DD and held Easton.....I was giving him extra smooches and squeezes from you all hehehe. Jazmyne wasn't home from school yet and wouldn't be for awhile and I ended up having to leave before she got home so it was ALMOST a perfect day.
I think I kinda over did it yesterday with vacuuming and mopping then going to PT, my back was hurting so much by 5 I had to take a pain pill :o( oh well, I feel better this morning. I'll be packing my SS box today and seeing where I stand with everything, only 16 mailing days left I believe :o)
I hope you all have a wonderful day! Prayers for those in need.
Tina
