need more advice- --Please
O.K., here I am up to the last boarder on this disappearing nine patch and now I really need advice. something possessed me to put a 3" boarder on it, followed by a 9" boarder that contains Eleanor's flying geese stars. Well I know that I can not put a binding on following the stars so was going to put another 3" boarder. I hope I'm making sense and your following me. my problem is...that to make sure that I am accurate with the stars I would prefer to put the 3" boarder on the bottom and quilt top on top when I sew it but wont that cause a problem with the sewing machine? wont the 3" boarder want to travel faster than the quilt top?? I did not know if I was just careful to pin it heavily, trying desperately to nail down the situation if that would be any help or not or should I use a walking foot or both. Or maybe there is another solution I did not even consider----HELP.
