SUPPER CLUB - Sun, Oct 27th

We have rain today! Actually, the first rain in two weeks. and that includes while we were at the ocean beach - usually very wet this time of year. So it will be an indoor day. We need to finish up the quilting (and binding!) on the last of the three DD's Christmas quilts as we're going to her house today for supper. I want to take it with us. DH groaned, but too bad. He's had it on the frame for 3 weeks. Time to get moving! Lara decorates early, Nov is only 4 days away, and we won't see her again until Thanksgiving.

Irish, we did get photos of Scottie on the beach. There are so many icky things on a big beach that call to a little dog. GGAaaagggg.. Soon I'll take the time to offload them from the camera, and then upload/download, and whatever else so we can share them. Yesterday we took him to puppy school. He was the only puppy there so was truly Teacher's "Pet". lol! He obeyed all kinds of commands like Sit, Come, Follow, In, etc. He even went through a short tube, hopped into an empty wading pool on command, and learned about clickers as training tools. He was the best puppy in the class! He's grown so much this week - up to 10# and he's almost a foot tall now. he's learned a lot of new words, too. We're so proud! Today he gets to go to Big Sissie's house for dinner and learn about her 3 cats. Fun for all!

So, no cooking for me tonite! I do need to make a Caesar salad but that's it. DGS started culinary school last month and he's making homemade stuffed pasta so it should be pretty tasty. He's a great cook.

We are having the F-word for supper stuffed with crabmeat. Sorry to turn your head Maryz. we are also having sweet potatoe fries and colesslaw/. I would rather have the stuffed pasta at your house though...I did make some gluten free popovers last night and Ken loved them....He made T--- salad and stuffed them for his lunch today.
