I am looking for this block it was on Simply quilts but when I look there I can not find it. we call my grandson duke so would love to find this block. Any help is appericated I did contact Mr Lockwood and his response is as follows.

I can't believe you even heard about Dukes Dilemma. I designed this block for Quilter's Newsletter back around 77 or 78. I was only a beginner quilter then. I don't think I even have the copy of the magazine any more.Just looked and it went out a few years ago when I gave away all my old quilt magazines.
I did hear from some lady a few years back asking my permission to put it in a book of quilt blocks that she was writing. I did give her permission to do so.
I would suggest that you research books on quilt blocks published since 2000. I don't think that it was in the 90's but it could have been. Time is fleeting.
